We execute at a very high level. Big risks, creative mindset, the right connections. We want to empower our clients to be category leaders.

R

But that 33rd time...
Boy oh boy.
That 33rd time will be special.

These numbers update in real time. They are mapped to the # of iterations this website has gone through.

How We Got Here

Where It Started

First-generation American. A love of cinema. A passion for creating art that moves people.

I inherited a lot more than just my good looks. I inherited culture, food, traditions, sports teams, and music. And a love of the cinema.

Cinema expanded my imagination in ways I previously thought impossible. Particularly the works of Hayao Miyazaki.

At an early age, I was passionate about creating art that could drive the same emotion that Miyazaki drove in me.

From there, I started creating short films and videos, teaching myself how to use Premiere and Photoshop on a cracked version of the Adobe Suite. (Sorry, Adobe. I'm subscribed now.)

I evolved into independent short films, then the commercial and TV industry. I was lucky enough to be in a couple of commercials and work with some of the best directors in New York. That's where I learned the skills of the trade and what it takes to make it.

The Pivot

A practical man sees what an industry entails. Marketing was the immediate fit.

I wanted to focus my skills in a way that was more practical. Marketing let me take my artistic side and blend it with my mathematical and science side. Create pieces that worked for people, that were also highly produced.

Camp counselor. Restaurant work. Print shops. Coaching. Tutoring (including courses I never attended). Customer business development. Sales. Marketing management. Production. Running events.

I built stages and LED boards. Ran scores tables. Shot spotlights. Was tech certified. Supervised teams building the basketball court at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center for the Gator Games.

I even edited a published LSAT book.

School was always very easy to me. Taking information, condensing it, and transforming language into something that works is one of my most prized skills.

Now I'm taking all of those experiences and compacting them. Along with everything else I've learned independently from the music scene, my own research, and from other people.

The Change

Companies change. Markets change. consultkarim.com was the answer.

We value honesty, transparency, and your time. So let me be honest.

Despite being a highly valued employee, the changing market caused me to be let go from my previous position.

About eight months into unemployment, I was running critically low on funds. I had approximately one month to live before I made financial decisions that would be punitive.

My retirement was locked.

My crypto accounts were frozen. (FTX!)

And I had no pending job prospects despite thousands of job applications, even where I was overly qualified.

During that time, I had a singular focus. There were two options.

Option one: demonstrate my abilities to the best that I could and find a brand who wanted an innovative thinker to push them forward and solve their biggest challenges.

Option two... well, we don't need to talk about option two.

consultkarim.com was my last-ditch effort to succeed.

Did it work?

Well, am I alive?

Yes.

Then I guess it worked.

The Value

We've worked. We've failed. We've learned. And now, we solve problems before you even realize they exist.

I don't want to glorify my desperation, but my back was against the wall. Quite literally.

In that timeframe, my concentration, dedication, focus, determination, and honestly just yearning to be seen was at its peak.

As time continues to grow from that moment, I seek to channel that type of energy and determination into each of the clients that I serve and each of the challenges that I tackle.

I get things wrong. But I also get things so right that certain problems are being solved before you even realize they are an issue.

You see, that's where our real value is. We've failed enough to know what is right. We can now save your time because we've already failed for you.

We've already failed for you.

I own my work and I own my mistakes. I'm extremely grateful for my mistakes, because through making so many of them, I have continued to improve my abilities.

Which means you don't have to suffer through the same ones that I've made time and time again.

Throughout it all, I'm much better for it.

Our Golden Philosophy

Balancing corporate goals, creative insight, and customer experience.

Our senior advisors told us explicitly NOT to build our site like this. We chose to anyway.

Conventional wisdom prioritizes specificity. Mixing the "light" of revenue with the "dark" of creative often causes user confusion. They're right 99% of the time.

We're the other 1%.

Where risks have to be taken. Belief must be inherent. And value should be apparent.

We don't play to have fun. We play to win.

A Midas Touch

"What color is GOLD?"

Trick question. Gold isn't actually a color. It's a lustre. Depending on purity, refinement, casting, and environment, gold displays many colors. Some light, some dark.

Gold texture

What really makes gold GOLDEN is a combination of:

The "Surface"

Bright, immediate, and polished
(revenue-driving operations)

The "Shadow"

Depth, character, and texture
(creative and design elements)

The "Shine"

An interaction with a light source
(your customers)

A unique blend of these 3 elements truly makes you golden. We'll work with you to find out what that precise balance is.
